Chris Watson, formerly of Macon, GA is the Lead Pastor of GracePointe Church. Chris is a graduate of Mercer University. He and his wife Trish, are both graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary. They have three sons, Caleb, Connor and Cameron. Chris spent 15 years in youth ministry serving churches in Alabama and Georgia and leading in several parachurch organizations before coming to GracePointe. He is a speaker and author. Chris and Trish desire to glorify Christ in all things.

Blake Gosnell

Blake Gosnell has served as the Worship Pastor of GracePointe Church since March of 2005. Originally from Decatur, Alabama, Blake has enjoyed leading worship, songwriting, and performing music in a variety of different ministries since he was very young. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2002 with a B.S in Recording Industry. He has a passion for seeing people worship as a response to who God is and to all He has done for us through Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Jessica, have been married since 2006 and they have one son, Josiah. and one daughter, Jordan.

Archie Rish, a native of Coffee County serves as discipleship pastor at GPC. Archie joined our staff in April 2014. He and his wife Carla have two boys, Brody & Nate. They have served the local Church together for the past 12 years. His love for the family sets the stage for programs designed to equip families to lead for change. The Rish Family enjoys hanging out with family and friends; as well as volunteering with community non-profit organizations.

Rebecca Lowther

Rebecca Lowther came on as Administrative Assistant in March 2016. She was born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida, but has called Douglas home since 2003. She accepted Christ as a child at age 5, and was raised in a home where she learned to serve the Lord. Rebecca graduated high school in 1993, and then attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri for a year. She then transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she met her husband James. They were married in 2002, and adopted their daughter Kiyah in 2007. They started attending GracePointe church two years ago, and have fallen in love with the ministry here. She loves to cook, and enjoys spending time with her family.

She loves being able to serve as administrative assistant, and be in the hub of all that is going on here at GracePointe church. Her mission is to make things go as smoothly as possible to allow the pastors to do all that God has called them to do.

Chris Sheffield

Chris Sheffield began serving as our Pastor to Students in August of 2017. Chris has served in ministry for over 7 years as a student pastor and campus pastor. He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College with a degree in Christian Studies. Chris and his wife Courtney were married in 2006 and they have four beautiful daughters Everly, Isla, Willa and Rowan. Chris has a passion to see students transformed by the Gospel, empowered by the Spirit, and encouraged to love their community.

Mary Sirmans

Discipleship Ministry Assistant

Mary Sirmans came on as the Discipleship Ministries Assistant in September of 2017. However, she has been attending GracePointe since 2003. She was born in Macon, GA, but has lived most of her life in Douglas, GA. She graduated from Citizens Christian Academy in May of 2013, and continued her education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. December of 2017 she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Politics and Modern Culture. She recently married Levi Sirmans in March of 2018. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the members of Gracepointe through different avenues such as the Kids Ministry and Discipleship Ministry.
